"It's an honour to be invited to drive with a major international sports car series. The motor racing landscape is changing rapidly and Electric GT is at the front of the pack. They are bridging the gap between traditional motor racing and the future of the sport. The series’ leadership is strong and forward thinking. That’s what drew my attention in the first place,” he said.

"I was badly injured in an on-board racing fire last season. As a burn survivor, I'm really attracted to the concept of a racing car that does not rely on liquid fuels. The safety aspect of electric racing is tremendously important to me and a big step forward for the industry.”

"I really appreciate Mark Gemmell and Agustin Paya bringing me on board, and want to witness the changes EGT brings to motorsport first hand. I’d like to help bring the series across the ocean and tap into the American market. I'm anxious to represent my personal sponsors, Impact Racing and Boschett Timepieces, internationally. This is an exciting time to be a racing driver."
